Irene Gardner is managing vice president at Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm, where she oversees the Strategic Accounts practice for clients in the Midwest. Based in Iowa, Gardner began her career with Robert Half in 2000 as an area manager in field operations. She has held various leadership positions over her 21-year career, including regional vice president for several offices in the Midwest. Gardner assumed the managing vice president position in 2015 and currently manages national enterprise and contractual relationships for clients. Robert Half Strategic Accounts assists clients in staffing nationally for contract talent in accounting and finance, administrative and customer support, technology, marketing and creative, and legal support. Gardner is passionate about developing relationships with the teams that are responsible for their contingent labor programs including managed services providers and self-managed project management offices. Her goal is to truly partner with clients to meet their program objectives while working together to exchange ideas that allow the programs to use best practices and trends in the industry. She enjoys traveling to national parks and has been to 31 with 32 to go! She can often be seen at Arrowhead Stadium with her husband and two boys cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
