Lohit Bhatia is the President of Quess’ Workforce Management business. He has been associated with Quess since 2011 when he joined the group as General Manager Sales for Staffing business. Over the years, our Staffing business has grown over 20x under his leadership from 13K to a market-leading 65K associate base. Leading an expert team of professionals at Quess Staffing, which enabled the company to become a market leader in a decade, has been the finest part of his journey. In the year 2015-16, he became the CEO of the Staffing business and later took over the current role as President – Workforce Management. He currently leads teams across General Staffing, IT Staffing & Recruitment, Digital Compliance, Training & Skill Development, and Logistics in India, Singapore, APAC, and the Middle East. He also has vast expertise in manpower outsourcing programs with a focus on managed services across industries. During this period, Quess grew from a start-up to become the largest IPOs in the year 2016 listing on NSE and BSE and now India’s largest private-sector employer with over 385,000 employees as of Dec 2019. Lohit has over 23 years of experience across industries such as Textiles, and Auto Components and Services with a focus on product and services, and sales and business development. Before Quess, Lohit was working with Laurent and Benon Management Company as the Centre Head and was responsible for managing their recruitment and search functions. He has also worked with ClearPlus (Dba Advantage Asia, USA), a leading 100% FDI invested auto component unit at the Noida SEZ, as Commercial Head and The Thapar Group as the Deputy Marketing Manager. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Delhi University and a Masters in Marketing and Sales from the Apeejay School of Management besides an Advanced Systems Diploma in Computers from the NIIT. Lohit has been a speaker on many forums, including the ASU GSV conference 2019 at San Diego representing the India chapter, the Yuwaah launch conference at New Delhi conducted by UNICEF in Nov 2019, and at the many conferences conducted and hosted by the Indian Staffing Federation (ISF) across India. He has been on the Executive Board of ISF, a leading Staffing Industry Federation in India that represents over 100 staffing companies, since 2018. He has been the North Chair for ISF and a part of the regulatory subcommittee, interacting on behalf of the federation with the Government of India on employment and staffing, and the GST Council for the outsourcing industry. Lohit has been elected the President of ISF for a 2 years term wef 1st April 2020 and has been interacting with industry leaders, employers, and the Government regarding the representation of the industry for both immediate and long term development of staffing in India and increasing formalization of the Indian workforce. Lohit currently sits on the board of four subsidiaries of Quess Corp Limited and is President of Indian Staffing Federation.
