Interview with Ravi Goyal

Ravi Goyal

Vice President, Alignity Limited

We are going through very uncertain times. What are the 3 things that will differentiate top performing staffing companies from others?

1. Client and candidate friendly process

2. Highly engaged recruitment team

3. Never-ending resource pool

It is not a secret, we have a recruiter shortage. What are the most helpful tools to make your recruiters more efficient?

Not really, talent is everywhere and all the time. Engaging an employee is an art and not every employer can claim it. Good management can always retain its talent and talent always keeps its eyes on good companies. We encourage talent every single day not just on special days. We send the best one on a family holiday to foreign trip and the second best to the domestic trip all expenses paid. This is only one among the numerous ways we follow to keep our recruiters highly charged and motivated. Our dynamic leader board says it all.

Buzzwords like Meta Verse, AI, automation are used at the moment to describe the future of work. From your point of view, which staffing technologies are overhyped and which are here to stay?

There is no condemning that these AI enabled tools make our processes easier but nothing can beat the judgmental qualities of human brains so your human power is the best bet for you to stay on top. Always trust your employees and get the best of them by giving them the best.

Everyone talks about candidate experience, but what about client experience? What tools or best practices do you implement to ensure an outstanding experience for your clients when working with your firm?

We take smiley survey after each interview and placement. We promise a handsome amount in case of a mis-hire. Above all we take every care to pre-screen the resource before taking them to our clients’ desk.

Especially in today's market it is important to stay ahead of the curve. Where do you go for market intel and news? Which newsletters, blogs, conferences, podcasts etc. can you recommend?

Social media is the best source of information these days and you get all the information about all the newsletters, blogs and so on. Choose the right one based on the topics and follow. That’s the success mantra now-a-days rather than sticking to any specific blogs or podcasts.
